Global Energy Group

Chairman says leadership programme is a “milestone development for the company.”
As the third Group of twelve people look to commence Module One of the company’s landmark Leadership Programme – ‘Building Global Leaders’, Chairman Roy MacGregor is delighted with the concept and content of the Modules and indicated, “This programme is so important to the development of our people in growing our leaders of the future. I am really pleased with the work of Susan Myles and the training team from Onesimus as they have combined classroom and outdoor training concepts extremely well and made it enjoyable yet challenging for our people. We have huge lessons to learn and it is so encouraging to be embarking on this journey and doing this learning together. It is a milestone development in this company. ”
There is no doubt our Chairman’s commitment to the leadership programme as he participated fully with the team in the first module and took an active role with the second group.
Organisational Development Director Susan Myles is extremely happy with the content of the Programme and with the attitude and commitment of both the trainers and the participants and said, “the growth of the Global Energy Group determines the importance of us developing our potential leaders from within our own people wherever possible, as these people understand our core values and culture. I have worked very closely with Ian Woods and his team to develop this programme that is totally bespoke and unique to Global. There are four residential modules for each programme with follow up Action Learning days and executive coaching sessions so it is an intense process but purposefully so. I am delighted our Chairman gives his full support to the concept and course content as he sees this investment being necessary in the ongoing development of the company at this time.”
Ian Woods, Director of Onesimus, is delighted at his company being chosen for the course delivery and said of the training so far,
“We have already seen the quality of the people Global are putting on to this leadership programme and we feel privileged to be part of this process. We appreciate how difficult it is for busy people to commit their time to this type of training, but Global is growing at an impressive rate and it is vital that the strength, flexibility and efficiency that this programme will create is built into the culture now rather than trying to bolt it on later. It’s great to see this process starting at the top and those in positions of leadership are keen to maximise their own potential in order to effectively lead the company forward. It is a logical step and, albeit I am biased in Global using Onesimus for this training, I am convinced it is the right step for this company in its stage of growth within its competitive marketplace”
