Isleburn Expansion Continues
It is not long since we reported the newly refurbished offices at Isleburn, where they received major refurbishment and additional office space.
No sooner had the initial project been completed when there was a further requirement for an additional 22 desk office space to provide offices for Project Management Personnel and additional Meeting Rooms as the company continues to expand.
Project Manager David Mackenzie was in charge of the building works and said, “I was delighted with the speed of this additional space being created and as we had little room at ground floor level, we took the opportunity to build a new first floor area to adjoin the existing buildings and to maximise the space available to us. The job went really well, with as little disruption as possible to our existing operations.
We also were working to a tight timescale and there was real advantage in being able to use the Group’s construction arm – Global Construction, to complete the works and we greatly appreciate the efforts of Ian MacDonald and Wilfie Campbell and their teams in assisting us achieve our targets.”
“This expansion is key to the ongoing development of Isleburn”, commented Managing Director, Neil MacArthur. “We were really tight for space and the Project Management teams needed new offices and with more and more client’s visiting our premises, the additional meeting rooms I am sure will be well used as our business grows. Global Construction did a really good job for us being ahead on time and on budget and you cannot ask for any more than this. It just shows the capability we have across the Global Energy Group.”
You can see why Isleburn need the additional space, if you consider that some ten additional management personnel have started over the last month in various disciplines and already this additional space is very well utilised well utilised by Neil and his team.
